Bajaj Auto Sales

Bajaj Auto second largest bike manufacturer, has announced August sales numbers. It has sold 1.95 lakh units in August 2007 compared to 2.08 lakh units in same month of previous year.

In the overseas market, it has sold 56,452 units versus 32,283 units YoY.

Bajaj Auto has targetted sales of 20,000 units of new 125 cc DTS-Si bikes.

The money would be used to shutter abandoned mines on public lands, help local governments protect drinking water supplies, and erect energy-efficient visitor centers at wildlife refuges and national parks. The Interior Department estimates that its portion of the work would generate about 100,000 jobs in the next two years. Yet the plan will make only a dent in the backlog of cleanup projects facing the EPA and in the long list of chores at the country's national parks, refuges and other public lands. This was narrated by an IAF pilot at a Seminar recently on Human Relations : Venkatesh Balasubramaniam (who works for IIT) describes how his gesture of booking an air ticket for his father, his maiden flight, brought forth a rush of emotions and made him (Venkatesh) realize that how much we all take for granted when it comes to our parents. My parents left for our native place on Thursday and we went to the airport to see them off.
