The Sensex ended the day with a loss of 241.37 points, or 1.69% at 14,060.66 after touching a high of 14,405.51 and a low of 13,976.49. The broad-based NSE Nifty fell 48.15 points, or 1.11% at 4,270.30 after hitting a high of 4,362.85 and a low of 4,244.70.

An hour into opening, the market is trading volatile. Realty and auto stocks lead the gains. The Asian markets continue to trade mixed. Sensex is trading at 14,350, up 48 points from its previous close, and Nifty is at 4,344, up 25 points.
